The Role: 

At Metaversal, we’re looking for a dedicated Analyst to produce performance analytics for and maintain precise accounting for our digital assets and portfolio companies.

The ideal candidate will have an acute understanding of the blockchain and NFT ecosystem, coupled with a data science and economics background. This role requires a high degree of organization, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to ensure the accurate valuation and comprehensive reporting of our digital assets portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Within 60 days of joining, create daily Portfolio Reports that provide actionable insights for the investment committee on performance and allocation, alongside other relevant metrics.

  • Implement and manage precise accounting systems for our NFTs and crypto balances across various platforms within 30 days of joining.

  • Ensure 100% of Metaversal digital assets and private seed investments are valued accurately. This includes daily valuation of ETH, Solana, and Polygon NFTs, monthly valuation of Tezos NFTs, and quarterly valuation of Portfolio Seed Companies.

  • Develop scraping tools for gathering daily news feed on invested projects and work closely with the VP of Research to incorporate buy zones, sell targets, and other trading signals.

  • Monitor all Metaversal wallets, process token transfers, and assist in constructing quarterly and annual accounts. Build efficient processes to control token transfers and keep track of all active trades.


Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of multiple blockchains including BTC, ETH, SOL, XTZ, and MATIC.

  • Advanced proficiency (a wizard) in using Excel, Airtable, Notion, Zapier Integrations and creating AI tools or using software extensions for automation

  • Demonstrable track record of using Python

  • Ability to work with AWS and database infrastructure as well as working with data feeds and APIs

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changes

  • Proven track record of initiative, high standards, and precision

  • Experience working in finance or the asset management industry a strong plus
